I Am Shaving My Head to Earn Your Donations for Breast Cancer

Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you well. As you may know, my friends and I are hosting a fundraising event for the Ottawa General Hospital Breast Health Centre. This center plays a vital role in detecting breast cancer safely and comfortably, and they're currently in need of a new biopsy chair, which costs around $10,000. To ensure we raise enough funds, I, along with some close friends—Enzo, Frank, Ken, and myself (Giuseppe, on the left in the picture below)—are planning to shave our heads during the event. It's going to be quite the spectacle! The event itself is shaping up to be a fantastic evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and great music. We're calling it the St. Valentino Dinner Dance, and it's happening on Saturday, February 13th, 2016, starting at 6 PM. The venue is St. Anthony’s Banquet Hall, located at 523 St. Anthony St., Ottawa. Tickets are priced at $65 each, and if you're interested, please let me know so I can send you more details. If you can't make it to the dance but would still like to contribute, you can sponsor us through our sponsorship page. Simply visit the page, click on one of our team members' names, and then click the "Donate Now" button. It’s quick and easy, and every bit helps! Our group, the Sons of Carpineto Romano, consists of friends who share Italian roots, tracing back to the town of Carpineto Romano in the 1950s. Many of us either moved to Canada from there or have family who did. Over the years, we've organized various community events aimed at supporting great causes. So far, we've raised over $11,000 for various charities in Ottawa. Breast cancer is something that affects so many lives, including those of our mothers, sisters, and daughters. Early detection is crucial, and that’s why we’re raising money for this biopsy chair. It’s an investment in their health and well-being. As for me personally, I’m not looking forward to losing my hair, but knowing that this sacrifice could help countless others makes it worthwhile. And maybe I'll even end up with a cool new winter hat! Thank you so much for considering joining us or sponsoring us. Every contribution counts, and together, we can make a difference. Warm regards, Giuseppe
