China's packaging standard types and marking methods

After the Canadian World Trade Organization (WTO) , most of China’s standards were gradually brought into line with international standards. However, in actual economic activities, many domestic standards are still indispensable, especially for some packaging standards. Domestic standards still account for a lot of Large proportion. Here are some of China’s regulations on standards.

1 . National standard

National standards are standards proposed by the National Bureau of Standards and implemented nationwide. The national standard uses the first uppercase letter “ GB ” of the national standard Chinese Pinyin as a code, followed by the standard sequence number and release year number, and is divided into the mandatory standard “ GB ” and the recommended standard “ GB/T ”. .

2 . Industry Standard

Industry standards are standardized standards for industry-based production management. Standard codes and marking methods are stipulated by the National Bureau of Standards. The industry standard code is generally composed of the first capital letter of the industry name Hanyu Pinyin, followed by the standard sequence number and release year number. Standard codes for packaging and packaging-related industries are: BB (packaging), QB (light industry), NY (agriculture), YY (medicine), HG (chemical), JB (machinery), SY (commercial), etc. The standard marking method is the same as the national standard.

3 . Local standards

Local standards are standardization standards for production and management in provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. The standard code is DB × × or DB × x/T . The number behind the DB is the administrative division code, and the standard code is followed by the standard sequence number and release year number. The labeling method is basically the same as the above method, except that after the DB , “the first two digits of the administrative division code” is added, and the other remains unchanged. Local standards are now rarely used and are no longer illustrated.

4 . Business standard

The enterprise standard is a standard that is prepared for the production and management of enterprises. The corporate standard uses the first capital letter " Q " of the Qizi Pinyin as the standard code, followed by the enterprise code, standard serial number, and standard release year number. The labeling method is basically the same as the above, except that the “two digits of the administrative division code” in the local standard is changed to “enterprise code”. No longer alone.

Corporate standards are compiled without the corresponding national, industry, or local standards, and are mostly used for newly-developed products or products with few similar products. Enterprise standards shall be submitted to the technical supervision department for approval and filing.
