Fire detector cleaning technology and equipment

Fire detector cleaning technology and equipment fall into a specialized category, with the primary focus being on the first two types of detectors produced by Beijing Guoan Fire Security Co., Ltd. The Guoan fire detector professional cleaning factory, led by Zheng Guoliang, plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of these devices within automatic fire alarm systems. These detectors must remain continuously sensitive and reliable, as any failure could lead to serious consequences. Therefore, ensuring that the fire detectors are clean and functional after cleaning is essential for both users and cleaning facilities. Since 1993, our factory has been dedicated to this field, and over the years, we have learned that achieving sensitivity and reliability after cleaning is not just a goal—it's a fundamental requirement. As experience grew, so did the complexity of the cleaning process. Cleaning time and methods became key factors in determining the quality of the final product. High-standardized fire detectors after cleaning should function properly for at least eight months before requiring re-cleaning. However, the actual performance can vary significantly depending on the cleaning method used. For photoelectric fire detectors, which operate based on light transmission principles, the key is to ensure that the optical path remains unobstructed. This means keeping the lens surfaces clean and free from any dirt or residue that could cause false alarms. Ionization-type detectors, on the other hand, require special attention due to their reliance on highly insulating materials. Any reduction in insulation quality can lead to improper functioning, such as false signals or failure to detect smoke. To maintain the integrity of ion detectors, we use a combination of water and cleaning agents, following a precise dehydration process. This involves immersing parts in a solution where water is replaced by the cleaning agent, allowing impurities to be removed effectively. We also use high-pressure air to dry the components, ensuring no moisture remains. In 1997, we transitioned from using Lyon-based cleaning solutions to a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly approach, utilizing water as the primary medium. Our cleaning machine, designed with four tanks, follows a seven-step process that includes rinsing, ultrasonic washing, and final drying. Each step is carefully controlled to ensure optimal cleanliness without damaging sensitive components. One of the most critical aspects of the cleaning process is anti-static treatment. Fire detectors, especially those containing field-effect transistors, are highly susceptible to static electricity. To prevent damage, we implement strict anti-static measures, including wearing anti-static clothing and using short-circuit clamps during disassembly and reassembly. Overall, fire detector cleaning is a complex and technical process that requires precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the underlying principles. Our goal is not only to restore the detectors to their original condition but also to ensure they continue to function reliably for an extended period. Through continuous improvement and innovation, we strive to provide the highest quality cleaning services to our customers.
