Types of screen printing: Screen printing can be divided into many types according to its format, printer type, ink properties and type of substrate, but its printing methods can be divided into the following types.
1. Flat screen flat screen printing: Flat screen flat screen printing machine is a method of printing on a flat substrate with a flat screen plate. During printing, the plate is fixed, and the ink plate is moved.
2. Flat screen curved surface screen printing: Flat screen curved surface screen printing is a method of printing a flat screen printing plate on curved substrates (such as balls, cylinders, cylinders, etc.). During printing, the squeegee is fixed, the printing plate moves in the horizontal direction, and the substrate rotates with the printing plate.
3. Rotary screen printing: Rotary screen printing is a cylindrical screen plate, which is equipped with a fixed squeegee, and the cylindrical plate and the substrate are printed at the same linear speed.
4. Indirect screen printing: the first three methods directly print the substrate from the printing plate, but can only print some regular geometric shapes, such as plane, cylindrical surface, conical surface, etc. For complex shapes, with edges and depressions Surface and other special-shaped objects must be printed by indirect screen printing. The process usually consists of two parts: flat screen printing and transfer, that is, the screen printing image is not directly printed on the substrate, but printed first. On a flat material, it is transferred to the substrate by a certain method. One of the methods of indirect printing is to print the image on the flat glass by the flat screen printing method, and then use the elastic silicone head to suck the ink image from the glass plate like a stamp, and then print to the special Surface: Another type of indirect screen printing is flower paper transfer, such as: screen printing flower paper + thermal transfer, screen printing flower paper + pressure sensitive transfer, screen printing flower paper + solvent activation transfer Printed. Indirect screen printing has become a major area of ​​the printing industry.
5. Electrostatic screen printing: Electrostatic screen printing is a method of transferring ink from the screen printing surface to the printing surface using electrostatic attraction. This is a non-contact printing method, which uses a conductive metal screen as the printing plate. , Connected to the positive pole of the high-voltage power supply; the negative pole is a metal plate parallel to the printing plate; the substrate is between two levels. During printing, the toner on the printing plate is positively charged when passing through the mesh, and is attracted by the negative charge, scattered on the printing surface, and then fixed by heating and other methods to form a print. This method is currently mainly used for printing on high-temperature substrates, such as steel plates.
