However, this level of awareness is still lacking in our market. Introducing the MR-1200, a specialized machine designed for long-blade artificial turf maintenance. It combines three key processes—grass combing and straightening, lawn cleaning, and (rubber) particle filling—into one efficient operation. The MR-1200 can also be used during the construction phase of artificial turf installations. The machine works in a sequence: first, it combs and straightens the grass blades using a reverse brush cylinder. Then, it sifts out debris while retaining useful rubber particles. Finally, it evenly distributes the particles back into the lawn using a backfill brush. During construction, the brush cylinder operates in the forward direction to fill the turf properly. Long-blade artificial turf typically features blades that are 55 mm in length, filled with silica sand and rubber granules. Over time, frequent use causes the grass fibers to weaken, leading to leaf loss, dirt accumulation, and compaction of the rubber granules. Regular maintenance is crucial to prevent these issues and maintain the turf’s appearance and performance. The MR-1200 is compatible with tractors and is equipped with a 3-point suspension system. It has a working width of 1,100 mm and can cover up to 3,850 square meters per hour at a speed of 5 km/h. A standard football field can be fully maintained in approximately 100 minutes. For best results, it is recommended to use the MR-1200 with the ST324 tractor, which may require additional front weight for stability and efficiency.
