Black plastic that can adsorb dioxide

Scientists at the Karlsruhe Research Center in Germany have developed a new type of black plastic that can both adsorb environmentally harmful dioxide and prevent it from depositing on the surface of incineration equipment.
So far, the soot filter device of the incineration equipment is made of polypropylene. Therefore, when the incineration equipment is in operation, the dioxide in the dust is easily deposited on the surface. When the temperature rises slightly, the precipitate will fall off immediately. Return to the dust. To prevent excessive emissions, smoke filter devices must be replaced regularly. The replacement process is complicated and costly. However, the newly developed black plastic can prevent this so-called "memory effect", it can firmly stick toxic substances such as dioxide, at the operating temperature, the surface sediment will not fall off on its own, only when the temperature It will fall off when the operating temperature is exceeded. A large number of tests have shown that this kind of black plastic has a good application prospect. Tests on waste incineration equipment have also proved that this material is very practical. At present, Germany has used 3 sets of waste incineration equipment.
